VOCAL’s Trivia Night

The VOCAL Trivia Night was held on the 23rd of October at Central Charlestown Leagues Club to promote and launch Simon McGuire and Adrian Kerville’s Paddle for Peace fundraising adventure

The night was a great success and a very enjoyable night.

A big thank you goes to Sheri Moore for all of her hard work in organising the event and for developing some very creative and challenging questions.

Much appreciation to Merrie Carter who generously (and bravely) offered to step in as the MC/quizmaster on the evening. She was an absolute natural!

Thank you to Central Charlestown Leagues Club who generously donated use of the room, and raffle prizes including vouchers, hats, stubby holders, and t-shirts; and Angela Speers, Fiona and Lilly Pederson, and Shauna and Kath Norman for all of their help on the night.

The winning group on the night was Lynne Cossar and social workers from the John Hunter Hospital. Not only did they incontestably win they generously donated their winnings to VOCAL.
