Standing Together Against Crimes Of Sexual Assault (STACSA)
Standing Together Against Crimes Of Sexual Assault (STACSA) Gunnedah Inc was formed in early 2002 and has continued to grow in membership since this time. STACSA is a support network for non-offending families and friends affected by sexual assault. STACSA became incorporated in 2004. Soon after STACSA Survivors was formed specifically for the victims of the abuse.

Unfortunately there is no support for families of sex offenders. Families of offenders are: not recognised as victims; not entitled to be informed of the offenders release dates or parole conditions; not entitled to submit victim impact statements; not easily represented to prevent a sex offender having access to children; stigmatised in society.
