In November 2019 we are holding a special birthday event to commemorate 30 years of empowering victims of crime.
In November 1989, Dawn Gilbert rallied together over 600 people who were outraged by the murder of her daughter Tracey, and the subsequent inadequacies of the criminal justice system in supporting victims of crime. On that evening, thanks to Dawn’s drive and determination, the Victims of Crime Assistance League Inc NSW was formed.
