A Survivor of Violence
I wrote this from my thoughts and experience of the past. It’s
my life and alot of others will be in the same boat – Cheryl
LIFE
Life is hard most of time
a punch thrown here and a kick there
but that is what life is not about.
A bit of respect goes a long way
a smile to help gleam like a light
you make me do things that I not want
but don’t make me degrade myself
that I will not.
I’m not here to be used and abused
nor will I be a play toy to you
all I ask is to be respected
Love and cherished while we live forever
This is life a human being
we are here all to live together
hugs, handshakes and a listening ear
this is all it takes to show you care
welcome to the real life
we see this happening everywhere
