VOCAL Inc. NSW is a not-for-profit organisation located in Newcastle and Sydney.

We provide a comprehensive range of services for people who have suffered as a result of a crime of violence and need help dealing with the effects of crime. Our services are available to everyone, regardless of whether or not the crime has been reported and when it happened.

If you live in NSW you may be eligible for counselling and/or compensation through the Victims Services.

If you live in another state in Australia, contact the relevant organisation in your state of residence. See support for victims of crime in other States.

VOCAL provides information, support, practical guidance, advocacy, and referrals (see useful links – coming soon) to victims of crime, their friends, family, and the wider community.

This includes victims of:

• Harassment, bullying, and stalking
• Crimes of violence
• Family and domestic violence – abusive relationships
• Sexual assault
• Child abuse
• Murder and suspicious death
• Criminal road crashes

We are an independent organisation – not part of the police, courts or any other criminal justice agency.
