Community Education
VOCAL is aware that the complex plight of victims of crime is often not well understood by society and practitioners in general. Therefore, VOCAL is committed to community education. We aspire to increase community knowledge and understanding about the numerous and complex issues involved in being a victim of crime.
We provide speakers about VOCAL, and any aspect of victim’s issues to:
- Traffic offender programs
- Service providers
- Community groups
- Educational institutions; Colleges, Universities and Schools
- Restorative Justice programs
- Political meetings
We can also provide consultation to groups that are interested in understanding victims rights and/or in setting up a support service for victims of any type of crime. If you have an educational workshop or an event that you would like VOCAL to speak at, please contact ceo@vocal.org.au
